I think, you already have known about the great revolution taking place with Indian Yog and specially with pranayama. Though, the idea is mainly from Indian Hindu Philosophy, people are going crazy with it because of its healthy benefits physically as well as psychologically. The "Patanjali Yog Pith", the biggest institute ever (more than 600 crore rupees) to work with pranayama will start working next year.
There is a misconception between YOGA(rather Yoga Therapy which deals with ashans) and YOG(pranayama deals with breathing techniques). So, people are hardly aware of the techniques of pranayama and its benefites.

Though, it requires a face-to-face demonstration to learn pranayama, I am trying mybest to write some simple procedures here to practice it yourself and see the benefit within a few days.
